Jason Quinlan was born in Detroit, Michigan. He studied philosophy, art history, and theater at university and has a graduate degree in dramaturgy.
While living in Japan in the early 90s he became interested in digital art and studied computer animation after returning to the USA.
He is a freelance digital artist focused on illustration and 3d character modeling.
His unique workflow implements digitally sculpted props, that he composes within his works and paints over those manually in 2D applications like Photoshop.
